The process of redesigning your kitchen or bath is an exciting one, but there are always questions you need answered before your purchase. If you don’t see your question below, feel free to contact us or your assigned salesperson.

Delivery

Standard LTL carriers are used. Notice shipping policies below.

  • 5-7 day business day standard transit time with LTL carriers. Please account for at least one extra day for residential and scheduled delivery appointments.
  • Shipping charges must be paid for when your order is placed online. (Orders exceeding standard LTL sizes are subject to additional fees for Full Truckload shipping.)
  • Orders cannot be held however, you can select to ship at a later date when talking to your salesperson.
  • Your salesperson will communicate all shipping information with you.
  • All destinations must be tractor/ trailer accessible, or Limited Access fees will be applied ($150).
  • For Residential Deliveries – The freight company will contact you 24 hours in advance to schedule delivery (usually a 3-4 hour window).
NOTE!

Shipping charges cover one delivery attempt.

The customer is responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges for delivery failure due to customer circumstances. Talk to your salesperson regarding unusual destinations before your items are shipped

All flat pack orders are processed and shipped out of our facility within 5 full business days after order is finalized. Your salesperson will notify you when this happens.

Assembled orders are processed and shipped out of our facility within 7 full business days. Transit time to your location can vary from 1-7 business days depending on your location. Be patient. Do not set restrictive schedules for your cabinet delivery.

NOTE: Delivery business days are Monday through Friday.

EXAMPLE: If your order is processed and completed on a Thursday, it will process by the following Friday, then arrive 2 weeks later on a Tuesday (depending on shipping availability – this is only an estimate).

NOTE!

Backorders are exempt from normal lead times. If there are any backorders or delays, this will be communicated to you through your salesperson. It is important to keep in touch with them so there are no misunderstandings.

Please notate any damages with the freight company on the BOL (bill of lading) when accepting the delivery and take photos of the damaged items. Submit a claim with the photos of the damages to your salesperson immediately.

TCC will review and communicate the next steps in the process.

Missing or Damaged Items Policies

  • Freight claims for obvious damage or shortage can only be accepted when indicated on the bill of lading (BOL).
  • Freight damage claims must be filed within 5 business days. No claims will be allowed without the proper paperwork.
  • To file a claim for a damage or a shortage, please log into our website and use our damage claim module.
  • All damages must be documented and reported upon opening the boxes.

The following must be included to process the claim:

  • Order number
  • Buyer’s name
  • Shipping address for replacements
  • Brief description of damage or shortage, including item numbers and/or parts
  • PICTURES of the damage are required
  • Upon receipt of the damage claim, we will review the request within 48 business hours. Replacements will then be shipped out within a timely manner. Your salesperson will communicate this with you.
  • Expedited shipping service is NOT available for replacements and/or parts.
  • All damages must be documented and reported upon opening the boxes.
  • Missing items must be reported within two weeks from delivery.
  • Concealed damages must be reported within one month from delivery.
  • Items that have been assembled and installed cannot be claimed as damaged.
  • TCC cannot be held responsible for any labor costs accrued during the installation of any of its products sold via any of its channels of distribution. This includes, but is not limited to, items that may be flawed or have become damaged in transit.

Framed Traditional Style Cabinet FAQs

Our cabinet boxes are constructed using solid Birch hardwoods and furniture grade plywood. There is no particleboard contained in our cabinetry box.

Our plywood is also CARB2 compliant for standard US restrictions formaldehyde emissions.

Painted doors will utilize high quality HDF for longer life and to reduce the cracking that normally happens with hardwood joints overtime.

All stained finished doors, drawer fronts and frames are constructed from 3/4″ solid Birch hardwood. The styles that feature solid wood center panels are: Castleberry Saddle.

Our painted styles feature an all HDF door: Shaker White, Shaker Grey, Shaker Dove, Shaker Antique White, Castleberry Antique White and York Antique White.

Our cabinetry features 4-sided drawer boxes constructed from 5/8″ thick solid hardwood featuring dovetail joints and a fully captured, 3/8″ thick plywood door.

Our cabinetry comes standard with UV coated natural interiors.

Glass door “GD” cabinets have interiors that are painted or stained to match the exterior.

Yes, all US Cabinet Depot products are 100% in compliance with CARB Phase 1 & CARB Phase 2
defined guidelines of composite wood products.

The construction of our cabinetry ensures the strength required to support granite, concrete and/or any other countertop material that you may select.

No additional cabinet reinforcement is required.

A soft close door feature is standard on all cabinet styles.

No, All of our products come with finished exteriors.

Our drawers have a weight capacity of 70 lbs.

We do not carry the paint color or stains to sell direct but we have partnered with Sherwin Williams for easy access to our paint and stain finishes. Simply visit a Sherwin Williams in your area, let them know you are interested in a custom paint color or stain from the National Account labeled ‘BGI’. Once the National Account database is pulled up, provide the store associate with the corresponding code for the door style you are trying to match.

Retail locations can accomplish matching any paint color for your projects however, stains are limited to just trims and mouldings at the store level. For an accurate match on larger items you are staining, the type of wood needs to be matched specifically by a Sherwin Williams Performance Coating Group facilities.

No additional cabinet reinforcement is required.

The frameless cabinet box is constructed using composite plywood and MDF panels. The engineered wood doors have a textured melamine or laminate finish.

Our Alpine Series cabinets feature a white and grey linen thermofused melamine interior.

The Alpine Series features a standard white and grey linen thermofused melamine exterior, so panels are required to finish the exposed ends on a run.
